National funding programme for Virtual International Cooperation Projects
In February 2023, the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) will open a new round of applications for Virtual International Collaboration (VIS) projects. This VIS-initiative provides a funding scheme from 2021 to 2024 which allows lecturers and study programmes to obtain funding to set up Virtual International Cooperation projects. The subsidy amounts to 15,000 euros per project and is intended to free up teachers or educationalists for:
● Collaborative development or revision of the virtual international cooperation project;
● Necessary coordination with a higher education institution abroad;
● And coordination of the project.
In the period from 1 to 28 February 2023, project proposals for the second round can be submitted to the Ministry. Further information about this scheme is available on the OCW website (in Dutch).
