The Dutch Elon Musk: New online exhibition on Sibrand Stratingh
Sibrand Stratingh (1785-1841) was a chemist and inventor from Groningen, who developed the so-called ‘Karretje van Stratingh’. This 'Little Cart' is an early precedessor of the electric car. In the exhibition The Dutch Elon Musk, now on the website of the Special Collections department of the UB Groningen, Stratingh's work is placed in its academic, cultural and social context.
