Video lecture Erin Wilson: what is religion?
Whether you are religious or not, you know what religion is. But do you really? Dr Erin Wilson (Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies) explains why defining religion isn't that easy - and what that means for religious groups around the world.
Erin Wilson is a professor of politics and religion at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies. Her research is at the interface of religious studies, international relations and philosophy. Wilson developed the ‘relational dialogism’ model, which provides new explanations for the roles and meaning of religion in terms of international relations.
