UG involved in national Nederland Digitaal conference on digitization

Digitization will take centre stage during the national Dutch Digital Conference. from 8 to 10 February 2021. The theme of the conference is Samen Verantwoord Digitaliseren [digitizing responsibly together]. The online conference, the organization of which is based in Groningen this year, will discuss successful digital developments as well as the impact of digitization on the Netherlands. The University of Groningen will be involved in several components of the programme.
The annual conference is an initiative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy and the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, and is organized in close collaboration with digitization network Noorden Digitaal. The conference was originally planned for March 2020 but was postponed due to the coronavirus.

About Noorden Digitaal
Noorden Digitaal is a network that aims to promote digitization in the Northern Netherlands. The organization offers a platform for innovative projects, showcases, initiatives and activities in the field of the digital economy and society, and interconnects business, government, teaching, research and the environment.
As part of the conference, Noorden Digitaal has also organized a Talent Award, for which two UG students have been nominated.
The Dutch Digital Conference programme will be organized online on the (northern) ‘Let’s get Digital’ platform.
