UG in 73rd place on the THE ranking 2020 list
The University of Groningen is in 73th place on the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE) coming year. This is up six places from last year, when the UG was in 79th place. Six other Dutch universities are also currently in the top 100. The results were published on Wednesday 11 September 2019. This is the highest-ever position on the THE ever for the UG.
In August it was announced that the UG had climbed to position 65 in the Shanghai Ranking (ARWU). The UG currently ranks 115th on the QS ranking 2019 list.
