#Kingsday: Knowledge is King!
This year, Groningen had the honour of hosting the national celebrations for the King’s birthday, and on Friday, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima have celebrated King’s Day in Groningen. During the Royal Family’s 2-hour walk through the city centre, the spotlight has been on Groningen as a city of knowledge and talent. The Broerstraat, with the UG Academy Building, was of course included in the programme.

2 - 6 p.m. Knowledge is King!
Immediately after the official part of King’s Day ends, our own side event will start on the Harmonieplein. Knowledge is King! This is organized by the Young Academy Groningen, in collaboration with ScienceLinx and the UG Pre-University Academy. Between 2 and 6 p.m. adults and children can join in various activities and experiments.
