Changing communities, Changing policing - CITYCoP Final Conference
This April, the CITYCoP project organizes its Final Event to present the unique technological solution for improving citizen engagement and efficiency of law enforcement operations that is developed by the project, the SecureU mobile application and back-end, as well as the academic research that the project has carried out. SecureU is piloted in five cities: Florence, Lisbon, Bucharest, Dublin and Kildare.
The event’s first day will give an in-depth view of the CITYCoP system. Practical demonstrations of the SecureU mobile application and the back-end will be given along the day as well as an insight in the training modules that have been applied in the pilot cities to implement the system.
The second day will focus on the academic research on different aspects of community policing and participants will be able to dive into the different aspects of community policing with a number of field experts.
