RUG400 memorial book

In 2014, the University of Groningen celebrated its 400th anniversary. The motto chosen for the festivities was 'For Infinity'. This book is an attempt to reflect all the special moments and events that took place in words and pictures, and to capture them for posterity. The University and everyone associated with it made the celebrations momentous, multifaceted and unforgettable. Hopefully, this volume will provide a lasting memory for the many thousands involved.
This memorial book (136 pages) about the 400th anniversary of the University of Groningen was published on 1 December 2014. This was also done after the anniversaries of 1914, 1964 and 1989. This publication is bilingual (Dutch-English) and contains many pictures and digital references. It has been produced for all people interested, including Coimbra partners, honorary doctors, collaboration partners, sponsors, university staff and other guests and relations of the University. The book is available digitally on www.rug400.nl. On this website all the information about the 400th anniversary of the University of Groningen will remain available.
