Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Sciences added to University of Groningen degree programmes in Studielink
The Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) has given definitive approval for the introduction of a Bachelor’s degree programme in Liberal Arts and Sciences at the new University College Groningen. This means that all the formal criteria for starting the degree programme in September 2014 have been satisfied. Prospective students can register from today for the Bachelor’s programme in Liberal Arts and Sciences via Studielink.
The University College Groningen is a new faculty at the University of Groningen with a different, broader outlook on the future. Focusing on Energy, Healthy Ageing and Sustainable Society, it has been designed for those who want to embark on an educational adventure.

Small-scale and intensive
NVAO has awarded the degree programme the special distinction ‘Small-Scale and Intensive Teaching’. This grants the University of Groningen permission to implement a selection procedure and charge higher tuition fees for the new programme.
