New Unifocus, this week: Pijbes Alumnus of the Year; Public opinion on shale gas; Town edges as calling cards
The new Unifocus, the video magazine of the University of Groningen, is online.
This week:
- Alumnus of the Year. Wim Pijbes, Director of the Rijksmuseum and alumnus Art History, is this year's University Alumnus of the Year.
- The public opinion on shale gas. Linda Steg is investigating factors that influence the public perception on shale gas.
- Town edges as calling cards. The Landscape Knowledge Centre of the University of Groningen assesses the quality of town edges in in order to showcase local beauty spots.
Each episode of the weekly online video magazine Unifocus includes three items related to the University of Groningen, in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
