NWO grant for Netherlands Research School of Chemical Biology
The Netherlands Research School of Chemical Biology (NRSCB) was awarded a 800 k € grant from NWO for the implementation of a graduate programme in Chemical Biology.
NRSCB was established some time ago by the Stratingh Institute for Chemistry, together with institutes at Leiden University, Eindhoven University of Technology and the Radboud University in order to bring together the interest and expertise in Chemical Biology and create a platform in which und ergraduate students, graduate students and research staff can meet and interact.
13 Dutch research schools in total received each EUR 800,000 from the Dutch Organization for Scientific Research ( NWO ) to train young researchers . With this financial boost each research school will be able to appoint four PhD students for four years. The funding is part of the Graduate Programme of NWO and promotes the development of Dutch PhD training.
