05 July 2012
A consortium with the Groningen Centre of Energy Law (GCEL) was selected by the European Commission as one of five parties to tender for energy-related research commissioned in the next four years. This concerns a framework contract where the Commission selects the top five European institutions to do research on more specific legal questions concerning the energy sector. The consortium, consisting of the Italian consultancy Valdani Vicari & Associati and GCEL, scored no less than a second place. GCEL expects to do various research projects for the European Commission in the coming years.
