In this thesis we performed a combined epidemiologic and genetic study on classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL) in relation to Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) status. In the Chinese population the age distribution was significantly different as compared to the Dutch population, especially for the EBV-positive Group. In the Chinese population EBV-associated cHL is more frequent in children.
