Young Talent Encouragement Prizes 2010
On Wednesday 24 November 2010, the Young Talent Encouragement Prizes 2010 were awarded by Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities in Haarlem. These prizes are awarded to the best propaedeutic phase students in various exact and technological fields at Dutch universities. Prizewinners receive a medal and the sum of EUR 500.
The University of Groningen prizewinners are:
- Job Feldbrugge (Applied Physics)
- Eline ten Have (Chemical Engineering)
- Christiaan Koster (Mathematics and Applied Mathematics)
- Sebastian Verschoor (Computing Science)Alain Dekker (Life Science & Technology)
The Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities, the oldest Learned Society in the Netherlands, was founded in 1752 with the aim to ‘promote science’ in the widest possible sense.
