Professor Kneppers-Heijnert appointed as chair of Supervisory Board Martini Hospital
As of 1 October 2010,
Liesbeth Kneppers-Heijnert , professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, has been appointed as new chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of the Martini Hospital in Groningen. She is the successor of Johan Remkes, who has been chairman for three years and was appointed as Royal Commissioner in Noord-Holland as of 1 June.
Since March 2004, Kneppers-Heijnert has been a member of the hospital's Supervisory Board and she was appointed for a second term in 2008, which has become the chairwomanship as of 1 October. Kneppers-Heijnert is professor of business studies and also a member of the Dutch Senate (Eerste Kamer).
