‘Energy 2100’ – ESRIG inaugural symposium

28 April 2010

On Wednesday 28 April 2010, the symposium Energy 2100 (language: Dutch) will be organized in honour of the inauguration of the Energy and Sustainability Research Institute Groningen (ESRIG). By means of the symposium, chaired by Dr Jan Terlouw, ESRIG wants to draw attention to the broad approach needed to guarantee the sustainability of energy provision in the long term. The whole range of options for energy provision, increased efficiency and the consequences for the environment and society will be discussed at length.

ESRIG is a new institute combining those units in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences concerned with energy and sustainability.
