Patent
Question
Where/how to register a patent in Pure?
Answer
Research output > Patent > Patent
Definition: A patent is a document that grants the rights of a piece of work/invention to its originator.
Remarks: Only a published patent should be recorded in Pure.
Only one publication per patent family: the first patent publication.
Patents with UG as (co) applicant are registered in Pure by the Research & Funding department. Patents where the UG is no (co) application, for example if they were registered with a previous employer, can be registered in Pure by the researcher him or herself.
More information about adding a patent to Pure can be found in this patent submission guide.
