How can I add activities, prizes and datasets to Pure?
You can add your research content to Pure manually, by completing a template using the available submission templates.More information, see:

Apart from research output, can I automatically import activities, news/media items, prizes and research data?
No, apart from research output, you can only import news/media items automatically into Pure.

My activity is shown under an incorrect template. Can I change this?
Yes, as a personal user you can change the template yourself. Open the activity and click Change template on the upper right side. Be aware that by migrating the information to another template, some information may not be placed in the correct field. If there is a field missing in the selected template, you can find the content in the Description field.
If additional information is needed for this template, Pure will return with a message when you try to save the record.

Can I add an external organization to my activities and prizes?
You can add an external organisation.

Activities: You can also enter
your activities from before you worked for the University of
Groningen in Pure. However, it is important to enter the, in this
case external, affiliations correctly to prevent activities from
being counted in the RUG statistics.
When adding your activities to Pure, make sure your affiliation is correctly registered. By default, Pure presents your current appointment (at the University of Groningen). When adding a pre-RUG activity to Pure, you must change this affiliation to the organisation you were working for at that time. Use the Changing affiliation(s) fact sheet to see how to change the affiliation in five easy steps.
- Prizes: Adding an external organisation is now also available for Prizes. See the information above under Activities.
