Study places

All study places in the UB City Centre and UB Zernike are freely accessible, with the exception of the UG-only periods. In these weeks surrounding the exam periods you must reserve a study place upfront (you need your UG or Hanze student number for this).

Please note: in UG-only periods the UB City Centre is accessible for students and staff of the University of Groningen only, see: Exam periods: UG-only weeks .
At the UB Zernike, students from both the UG and the Hanze have access in this period.

The UB has many study and work spaces, as well as some meeting rooms. Which spaces are available, and how can you reserve them?

Please note: our house rules apply to all study areas.

Workplaces for students

Students can use the following facilities:

Reading tables and 'train seats'	Freely accessible (except for UG-only periods)
Study places (with and without PC)	In UG-only period reservation required: Reserve study place UB City Centre (UG students only) Outside these periods, free access
