Diamond open access infrastructures

The University of Groningen Library financially supports various diamond open access infrastructures.

  • ArXiv - Open access repository for Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science and Quantitative Biology.
  • DOAJ - Community-curated list of open access journals that use an appropriate quality control system.
  • OAPEN - A not-for-profit organization dedicated to open access, peer-reviewed books. It operates three platforms: the OAPEN Library, the OAPEN open access books toolkit, and the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB).
  • Open Commons of Phenomenology - Not-for-profit scholarly association whose mission is to provide free access to all relevant materials related to phenomenology.
  • Pressbooks - An open source content management system designed for creating books, often used to create open textbooks and other forms of open educational resources.
  • Public Knowledge Project (PKP) - a multi-university no-profit initiative developing (free) open source software and conducting research to improve the quality and reach of scholarly publishing.
