OA agreements with Rockefeller University Press, Benjamins and Future Science Group
As of January 2022, UG/UMCG authors can benefit from new Read & Publish agreements the University of Groningen and the UMCG closed with publishers Rockefeller University Press, John Benjamins and the Future Science Group.

Rockefeller University Press (RUP)
UG- and UMCG-affiliated corresponding authors can publish open access free of charge in RUP’s three hybrid journals: Journal of Cell Biology, Journal of Experimental Medicine and Journal of General Physiology. Articles will be published under a CC-BY license, directly deposited to PubMed Central (PMC) and subsequently to Europe PMC, and archived in LOCKSS/CLOCKSS and Portico. Read more
Future Science Group
The agreement covers mainly journals in the medical field. UG- and UMCG-affiliated corresponding authors can publish open access free of charge in 36 journals. Read more
John Benjamins
UG-affiliated corresponding authors can publish open access free of charge in all John Benjamins’s journals. Read more
