Portraits librarians unveiled
In the large staircase in the University of Groningen Library, the portraits of all librarians in its long history are now displayed. In total, 21 librarians have supervised the quickly changing organization since its foundation in 1615 onwards. At Special Collections, we made a separate site with information about the librarians, their most important achievements and the way they gave an interpretation to their job.
