The collection

The Economics, Econometrics and Business Administration collections can be found in the University Library Zernike and offer information in the fields of politics, law, agriculture, organisational studies and operational management, etc.

The collection comprises:

Books, journals and reference works
Online and printed. The classification shows where the publications can be found.
Statistics
Information offered by government organizations and international organizations, usually accessible online.
Annual reports
Online data of over 75 million businesses globally, offered through the ORBIS database.
Theses
The online theses (since 2002) from Economics and Busniness are available to UG students and staff only (via UWP).
Digital sources
The UG network allows online access to several files. A selection of important files for Economics and Business Administration can be found in the Library Guide Economics and Business.

Compulsory literature

The compulsory and recommended course literature is purchased based on the information in Ocasys. Therefore, teachers do do not need to submit a separate request for these.

E-textbooks

The UB is very reluctant to purchase e-textbooks for use in education. The prices of e-textbooks are very high compared to other e-books and printed books and usage options are limited. In addition, it is often only suitable for a small group and for a limited duration.

SmartCat shows all publications held by the University Library. Online publications are immediately accessible, printed material can be found on the open shelves or ordered through SmartCat.
