Favourite books

University is a place where students develop into critical and independent people, who find their place in our society. This includes the factual knowledge and skills you gain in your studies, but reading and writing fiction also contributes to your development. You explore different times, look at the world from another perspective, stimulate your imagination and improve your vocabulary.

What kind of books do students enjoy? Here you can read a few short profiles in which students talk about their favourite book. Let yourself be inspired by books from all over the world: from Lithuania to Iceland!
