The programme of the first year consists of Classics courses, combined with a secondary school internship in the second semester. In the second year the focus is on educational theory and classroom practice.

Minors for students from other degree programmes
We offer a minor Classics and Ancient History, which offers the possibility of specializing in language, archaeology, or history. We also offer the minor Mirror of Myth, and contribute to the minor Rhetorics. In addition, it is often possible to take part in individual courses, one of these being Classics: A problematic heritage. Students wishing to learning the languages from scratch are advised to take a look at Greek of Latin for Beginners. For MA students, there is Greek or Latin for Research, which combines the aforementioned course with a research assignment.
