Video conferencing
AV Services assists lecturers in using classroom equipment and setting up video communication.
The Harmonie Complex has one lecture hall that has been specially designed for Shared Lectures, i.e. lectures that can be attended simultaneously by a number of students and/or lecturers at two or more locations. This classroom is equipped with video conferencing equipment (VC set, camera, microphones) and four additional screens (two at the front and two at the back of the room). Camera images and presentations screens (such as a PowerPoint presentation) from the other location(s) can be projected on separate screens. The lecturer wears a small pin microphone and the students can be heard via ceiling-mounted microphones.
This classroom can be reserved for a series of lectures or for a one-time event. Because this classroom is also used as a regular classroom, you must make your reservation in timely fashion via the Timetable Office .
You can also use the multimedia rooms for video conferencing. These classrooms may have less extensive equipment (no additional screens, communication via desktop equipment and not via special video conferencing hardware), but this also makes them easier to access.
