Online assignments with Google Classroom

Google Classroom is one of the G Suite for Education applications that are available to staff and students of the UG. It is a virtual learning environment in which other Google tools such as Drive, Docs, Forms and Hangouts are closely integrated. It is especially useful for online assignments and online feedback on student work, and also for collaborative work by students, when they work together in one or more documents. Classroom is an alternative for a more extensive learning environment such as Blackboard, but can also be used as an extension to it.

Ronald Ohlsen, Dutch Language teacher at the Language Center, demonstrates how he uses Classroom in his classes. Two Chinese students that learnt Dutch at the Language Center share their experiences with Classroom.
