Lecture capturing
In the video below Rik Peters, Associate Professor Modern History, explains why he has his lectures recorded. Initially meant for students who could not attend, it soon appeared that the recordings were also used by students who had been present at the lectures but wanted to get a better understanding of the topics of the course. The recordings were also viewed intensively during exam preparation. One of Rik Peter's students explains why she thinks more lectures should be recorded.
Lectures can be recorded automatically in a selection of the lecture halls of the university. The teachers themselves add a link to the recordings in Nestor.
