Research Questions

There are various ways to investigate a question within education or research.

Research questions for students
Some research questions are very suitable for student projects. Students often offer a fresh perspective on your daily work, and it provides them with interesting practical experience.

The Science Shop Language, Culture, and Communication will brainstorm with you to determine what is interesting, useful, and feasible for your organization and the student to investigate. On the Science Shop website, you can find examples of projects, news, and reports, and get in touch with the staff.

Research questions for experts
Our experts and expertise centers often have experience working with partners outside the university. They are familiar with the possibilities for co-financing research, collaborations, and subsidy schemes. If you cannot find an expertise center that aligns well with your question, you can contact the Impact Officer. We are happy to assist you.

Conducting research yourself
Do you have plans for (doctoral) research yourself? That might be possible as an (external) doctoral candidate. If you have become interested in a theme through work or personal life and have the ambition to conduct research yourself, there might be opportunities for you in a doctoral trajectory. It's important to realize that before you can truly begin, you need a well-developed research plan, a supervisor, and funding. You can find more information about this on the website of the Graduate School for the Humanities.
