RUG Science Space at Liberation Day Festival Groningen

On May 5, the University of Groningen (RUG) will be at the Stadspark with its own spot on the festival grounds: the Science Space. In this unique area – built from two shipping containers and the mobile RUG Speech Lab – visitors can experience science in a surprisingly accessible way.
From ten-minute flash lectures to art installations, mini-workshops, live demonstrations, and short films – RUG researchers bring the theme of Freedom to life from a variety of perspectives: political, cultural, philosophical, economic, and more. All in a relaxed festival atmosphere, with seating areas, picnic tables, and space for interaction around the central theme: Freedom.
The RUG Science Space is an initiative of the Young Academy Groningen (YAG) and the Faculty of Arts.
