"No Land, No Food, No Life" screening by Cinema Politica Groningen

NO LAND NO FOOD NO LIFE is a hard-hitting documentary which explores sustainable small scale agriculture and the urgent call for an end to corporate global land grabs. This feature length documentary gives voice to those directly affected by combining personal stories, and vérité footage of communities fighting to retain control of their land.

After the screening, we will host an after-talk with dr. Nienke Busscher (Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences), who has conducted an elaborate research on the societal impacts of the gas extraction and earthquakes within the Groningen province, dr. Cristina Formenti (Faculty of Arts), who has been investigating contemporary documentary and animation productions from an ecomaterialist perspective, as well as El van der Graaf from the Vegan Student Association of Groningen (VSA).
