The Board of the UG approves new strategic plan Faculty of Arts "Building the State of the Arts"

10 November 2021

On 25 October, the Board of the University of Groningen approved the new strategic plan of the Faculty of Arts. This plan sets out the Faculty's ambitions for the next five years. Key objectives in the strategic plan are strengthening the Faculty's research profile, implementing educational innovations through Active Learning, setting up a societal impact strategy, reducing work pressure, further developing leadership, and realizing State of the Arts accommodation.

In the implementation of the strategic plan, the Faculty of Arts is committed to continuing positive developments and performance and building on the strong foundation that has been laid previously. Fortunately, the Faculty currently has a financially stable position, which allows it to invest in the strategic goals over the coming years.
