What’s in a Song? - Music, Memories and Emotions

What song do you like to put on? And how do you feel when you hear that song? Chances are there are specific memories linked to your favourite music. In this lecture, Beate Peter explains that the narrative of human lives, and of history as a whole, is based on the memories people have. What role does music play in this? And what musical memories do people have of Groningen? You can answer this last question yourself in the video booth, becoming part of a video exhibition.
