Registering at the University of Groningen
You must register as a student at the UG before 31 August 2024. Studielink provides an overview of everything you will need to arrange, including ID, qualifications and payment of tuition fees. You will not be able to start the degree programme unless all these matters have been arranged by 31 August 2024.
Please contact the UG Information Services if you have any further questions or need help.
For International Students: please read the Pre-departure Guide which explains all you need to know about studying at the University of Groningen.
Functional impairment
If you have ADD, ADHD, ASS, dyslexia or another functional impairment that might affect your studies or study progress, please read the information on studying with a functional impairment here. Also good to check out the information tool which informs students with a functional impairment or chronic illness, about the application process for exam facilities. In some cases, you can file your application online, but in other cases you need to make an appointment with an academic/study advisor and/or student counsellor. This depends on the nature of your request. If you would like to apply for special provisions, please contact your study advisor as soon as possible, and in any case before 1 July 2024.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the study advisors of Media Studies Erika Kastelein or Tessa Hummel.
