Study Association NUTS

NUTS is the study association for all students of the English Language and Culture programme at the University of Groningen. NUTS offers a broad range of degree programme-related and social activities. Members are offered discounts on textbooks and special members fees for activities. If you would like to be more actively involved in NUTS, you can also apply for committee or even board membership!

The first week of classes we'll have a week full of activities specifically for the new first-years, this year's activities haven't been determined yet, but last year we had a game night, pub quiz, and arts & crafts (and we'll probably host something similar). When we know more about what exact activities we plan to do, we'll make sure to let you know. The intro camp will be from the 20th (Friday afternoon) until the 22nd (Sunday) of September (right after the second week of classes) and will take place at a (yet to be announced) location in Drenthe. The camp will focus on introducing the first-years to each other through fun activities/games (which we'll keep a secret for now). Important to note is that there won't be hazing of any kind and alcohol will only be served at specific times and intake will be strictly monitored.
