Registering at the University of Groningen
You must register as a student at the UG before 1 September 2024. Studielink provides an overview of everything you will need to arrange, including ID, qualifications and payment of tuition fees. You will not be able to start the degree programme unless all these matters have been arranged by 1 September 2024.

Functional impairment
If you have ADD, ADHD, ASS, dyslexia or another functional impairment that might affect your studies or study progress, please read the information on studying with a functional impairment here. If you would like to apply for special provisions, please contact your study advisor as soon as possible, and in any case before 1 July 2024.
Information for international students
We expect you to participate in the Welcoming Ceremony for international students organized by the University. The Welcoming Ceremony will take place at the MartiniPlaza on Thursdayt 29 August. You will receive an invitation to the event approximately 1.5 months in advance, so make sure to keep an eye on your inbox!
A lot of information will be given, for example:

registration at city hall.
