JTS Grassroots Grants for interdisciplinary activities

The Jantina Tammes School of Digital Society, Technology and AI is offering individual 'JTS Grassroots Grants' for researchers, staff and PhDs of the University of Groningen. The grants, which average 2,000 euros and a maximum of 4,000 euros, offer a great opportunity to organise interdisciplinary activities.
The Jantina Tammes School explores how societies can optimally benefit from and contribute to digitization, digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI), with the motto: digital prosperity for all. The School aims to achieve this by fostering interdisciplinary research and education, in close cooperation with societal partners.
With the 'Grassroots Grants', the JTS offers a unique opportunity to realise interdisciplinary teaching, impact and research projects. The individual grants are available to researchers, staff and PhDs within the university. They amount to a maximum of 2,000 euros for activities in line with the School's objective. In exceptional cases, the amount can go up to 4,000 euros, depending on the nature and scope of the activity. Grants are allocated on the basis of a draw. The application deadline is 31 October 2024.
For detailed criteria, the application procedure and more information about the scholarships, interested parties can visit the Jantina Tammes School website.
