Signing agreement reconstruction Zernikelaan

17 January 2019

On Friday 11 January 2019, the municipality of Groningen and contractor Oosterhof Holman signed an agreement for the reconstruction of the Zernikelaan. This project is a collaboration between the University of Groningen, Hanze University of Applied Sciences and the municipality of Groningen.

The tender process has been successful. The tenderers have submitted plans and these have been assessed on the topics of sustainability, environmental management and risk management. Oosterhof Holman scored best on the price-quality ratio and won the tender. With the exception of a few preparatory activities, work will start in the summer holidays of 2019. The work will take about three years in total. More information will follow.
