Faculty submission for Best Practice in Teaching & Learning Award: Zoltán Lippényi and Giorgos Michelakis

Each year our faculty submits a Best Practice for the UG-wide Best Practice in Teaching & Learning Award. The faculty ceremony took place last Monday. Different teaching and assessment techniques were explored. The (by our Programme Committees) nominees were: Hedderik van Rijn with the use of SlimStampen in Psychology courses (Psychology), Rafael Wittek with the use of the 2DATE cycle in the course ‘Economy and Society: Critical Transitions in Advanced Industrialised Societies’ (Research Master), Sanne Parlevliet with storytelling in the course ‘Geschiedenis van opvoeding & onderwijs’ (Pedagogical and Educational Sciences), and Zoltán Lippényi & Giorgos Michelakis with the use of close reading in the course ‘Organisation & Society’ (Sociology).
Zoltán Lippényi and Giorgos Michelakis were chosen by the jury to represent the faculty in the Best Practice Award UG competition. We want to wish them good luck!
