The University of Groningen (RUG) investigates people’s opinions on household energy use, as well as its relationship with the local neighbourhood.

This research aims to gain a better understanding of the human factors that influence energy consumption behaviour. A specific focus is on the role of community energy initiatives and their potential to facilitate sustainable energy consumption among individuals in neighbourhoods.
