GION education/research

GION education/research is responsible for the research program “Educational Effectiveness” of the Nieuwenhuis Institute. The research program aims to describe, explain and optimize educational learning processes and educational policies within formal education. By conducting practice-oriented, policy-oriented, and fundamental research, we contribute to this societal task. The starting point is the pursuit of quality improvement in education and therefore that the learners (e.g., pupils, students) benefit from it. The questions ‘what, how, and why’ something works in education take an important position.
