Research questions

The aim of this project is to gain insight in historical abuse of children growing up in foster families between 1945 and present day. We want to answer following questions asked by the Commission De Winter on this subject:

1. What happened between 1945 and the present day?
2. How could violence take place in youth care?
3. How did (ex-)pupils experience this violence and how did it impact their later life?
   
   These questions are specified in questions that are focusing on the foster care system.
