An inclusive society

We strive for a society that does not pre-emptively impose limitations on people or exclude them from participation based on certain characteristics or traits. However, in reality, every society excludes people, and every group exists by virtue of its environment. So, what exactly is inclusion and how can we promote it?

Examples of research

Several recent examples of research in the field of inclusive society conducted by researchers from the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences:

The sexual and gender identity of young people

Migration

(Un)intended effects of development aid

How to promote positive health in older people

The conflict between people with and without higher education
