APA Early Career Award for Jeremy Burman
Jeremy Burman, staff member of Theory and History of Psychology, received the prestigious Early Career Award of the Society for the History of Psychology (Division 26 of the APA).
The jury report highlights his significant contributions to the study of Piaget, especially his discovery of Piaget’s unpublished books on learning processes in children. The report also recognizes his pioneering work in ‘digital humanities’: ‘In light of his pioneering research, publication record, his contemporary role in training future generations of historians of psychology, and dedicated professional service, we are unanimous in our decision to recognize his accomplishments with the Early Career Award’.
Burman will receive the award in October.
