What can we do for you?

Research

Sexual and gender diversity has a significant bearing on the variation in identities, health, wellbeing, and life course trajectories of individuals. Our research centre scientificically investigates these topics among Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersexed and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) populations, from multiple disciplines (education, pedagogics, psychology, sociology).

Education

The knowledge that we accumulate through research is integrated into our teaching around psychology, sociology, pedagogical and educational sciences. We also share our knowledge with other degree programs and institutions. We are also working towards broadening the faculty's (and University's) definition of diversity to include sexually and gender diverse people, and aim to support eductators with a toolbox of best practices.

Resources

We aim to support LGBTQIA+ youth, as well as those involved in their care by providing a library of useful resources. In addition, we also provide information for employers interested in supporting their LGBTQIA+ employees. Finally, we offer access to research materials by our members to interested researchers.
