The Centre of Expertise Social Science, Health and Wellbeing (CESSHW) is seeking to recruit one new PhD board member!

About the Centre:

CESSHW is a hub within our faculty that unites researchers dedicated to exploring health and well-being within social contexts. Our three core themes are: Health in Social Context, Healthy Ageing, and Health Interventions & Policy Development. Our goal is to enhance knowledge and foster collaboration among researchers, while showcasing our faculty’s contributions to health and well-being to a broader audience within and beyond Academia. We engage in diverse projects such as symposia (both online and offline), hackathons, citizen science events, and more. Looking ahead, we are excited about expanding our network and network related activities as well as securing external funding for collaborative research. Position Available: PhD Candidate Board Member

We are seeking an enthusiastic PhD candidate who possesses:

• Vision: A strong desire to co-develop and enhance the centre’s impact.
• Expertise: A solid background in social scientific research related to health and wellbeing.
• Passion: A commitment to advancing health and well-being research and strengthen the network within and beyond our faculty.
• Team Spirit: A team player who enjoys thinking about and planning activities
• Network Engagement: Interest in participating in the Aletta Talent Network is desirable.
• Commitment: We are seeking commitment to the board for about 2 years.
• Eligibility: Candidates must be enrolled as PhD students within the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences. We strive for diverse representation across all departments and especially encourage applications from the field of Pedagogical Sciences. Our current board includes members from Developmental, Organizational (departing), Clinical & Developmental Neuropsychology; Sociology, and the Pedagogical Sciences, Social Psychology and the Teaching Unit.
