Pauline Kleingeld elected new member of Academia Europaea
Pauline Kleingeld, professor of Philosophy (Ethics and its History) has been elected as a member of the Academia Europaea.
Due to Pauline’s outstanding achievements as a researcher, and having been successful in the competitive membership election process, the Academia Europaea / The Academy of Europe has invited her to become a member. Pauline has accepted the invitation to join the Academy.
The Academia Europaea was founded in 1988, on the initiative of the UK's Royal Society and other National Academies in Europe and is a non-profit Charity registered in the UK. The Academia Europaea is the only Academy with individual membership from the Council of Europe states and from other nations across the world. Members, some 6000 currently, are eminent, individual scientists and scholars, who cover the full range of academic disciplines (see: www.ae-info.org).
The Academia Europaea is a functioning European Academy of Humanities, Letters and Sciences with membership by invitation.
