"Erasmus, our follies and shared values"
Discussion about values was taboo for a long time, but is now topical everywhere, including at university. How can we discuss shared values? Who determines our academic values? And what do we do with them? Ronald van Raak will talk about Erasmus, our follies and shared values.
Ronald van Raak is professor of Erasmian Values, at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He is also member of the Council for Public Administration (ROB) in The Hague. Van Raak recently published a book about Erasmus, Spinoza and what binds us: Spelen met waarden, betalen met gedachten.
