Methodology in the History of Philosophy

This summer school will offer an overview of different approaches to the study of the history of philosophy, and reflect on the methodological challenges in history of philosophy. The summer school will also discuss the application of digital humanities approaches to the history of philosophy. Participants will be encouraged to reflect upon their own practices of interpretation, develop a more thought-through method to approach philosophical texts of the past, and learn about exciting new approaches to studying the history of philosophy.
