Faculty of Philosophy - 60 years

The faculty is turning 60 this year, and we are excited to mark this milestone with a series of special events.

As part of our celebrations we are organizing a series of public mini-lectures on a variety of philosophical topics (think of philosophy of AI or optimism & pessimism) providing opportunities for alumni and the general public to engage with philosophy. Dates and venues will be announced at a later stage.

Other activities will include an official opening on September 3rd in the Senaatskamer of the Academy Building featuring short pitches from different faculties on their collaboration with philosophers and how philosophy enhances academic partnerships. Additionally, we will host a BBQ in the garden of the Academy Building and conclude the day with a big party (location to be announced).
